I'm so excited to be a Guest Participant in the One Room Challenge. Not only do I get to be part of a cool community of designers, but I will end up with a renovated master bedroom that is definitely needed! We've been in our home for 2.5yrs now, and our bedroom hasn't been touched besides paint and I'm changing that. The challenge is for 6 weeks. I will post weekly updates on the progress. I'm going for a warm Modern Coastal vibe. Here is the mood board for the room.
So here is the plan:
Repaint the room, can you guess what color? Chantilly Lace, I know, again but yes, it's a classic and my favorite color for interiors
Install crown molding
Install Board & Batten feature wall
Strip the cherry stain from the bed & dresser. I'm going for a whitewashed beachy vibe. This is the part I'm scared of the most but I can do it. I might even paint the dresser navy to add depth, we will see
Install Bamboo Shade & Curtains
Purchase new nightstands
Purchase & install wall sconces
Paint abstract wall art
